api.eckari.com/v1/companies/uk/search
Search the UK Companies House register by name or keyword and return matching companies with company number, register status and a derived is_active, type, incorporation and cessation dates and the register's one-line address snippet. Use this first when you only have a name, then call the per-company capabilities with the returned company_number. Ordering is the register's own, echoed as match_rank — a position, not a relevance score. Use when: Look up a UK company by name.
Score
The score is built from observations we collect ourselves: how the endpoint responds, what the envelope contains, how stable the price and the recipient are, who pays and how often. It is deterministic — the same input always produces the same result.
We do not publish the exact methodology yet. If you own this endpoint, write to us and we will show you, item by item, what drags the score down.
