api.eckari.com/v1/companies/us/resolve
Turn a company-name fragment or stock ticker into the SEC EDGAR identifiers. Searches the SEC listed-security index and returns ranked matches with the 10-digit CIK, ticker, registered name and listing exchange. Deterministic ranking: ticker exact, then name exact, then name prefix, then name contains. Use it for names — the other company.us.* capabilities take a ticker directly. Use when: Which SEC filer and CIK does the company name "Apple" belong to?
Score
The score is built from observations we collect ourselves: how the endpoint responds, what the envelope contains, how stable the price and the recipient are, who pays and how often. It is deterministic — the same input always produces the same result.
